Week 1: How to make a contact Sheet
Contact Sheets are thumbnail images from your photo shoot. It is an easy way to collect all the images and decide which ones are the best and worst. They're easy to produce digitally and on paper and can give you a sense of how the end result will look.
During our first session we were told how to make digital versions, will we will then use for our shoots throughout the term.
1. Put all the images from the shoot onto a folder
2. Open Photoshop and go to File-Automate-Contact Sheet II
3. In the source images section, choose your folder of images
4. Under Document, set the Units, Width/Height, Resolution, and
Mode (color mode) for the contact sheet.
5. Under Thumbnails, decide how you want the images to be displayed.
6. Click OK and Photoshop will create your contact Sheet
